You've been places.
WHIB remembers them.
WHIB drops a quiet trail of breadcrumbs as you move through your day, then turns them into a journal of everywhere you went — automatically, accurately, on almost no battery.
The algorithm decides when to look
Most tracking apps ping your GPS on a timer, whether you're sitting still or crossing town. WHIB's algorithm watches your movement instead — dropping a breadcrumb when something's actually changed, and going quiet the moment you're not. Less guessing where you were, more knowing.
2% of your battery, tops
We rebuilt this part more times than any other. WHIB now runs on well under 2–4% of your battery a day — closer to the drain of a background email check than a navigation app. You shouldn't have to choose between remembering your day and getting through it.
Your day, written for you
At the end of the day, WHIB threads your breadcrumbs into a timeline — the coffee shop, the gym, the friend's place across town — without you tapping a single "check in." It's a journal that writes itself while you go about your day.
Built to be right, not just fast
A dropped pin in the wrong parking lot isn't a memory, it's noise. WHIB cross-checks clusters of crumbs against each other before it commits a place to your timeline, so what you see back is what actually happened.
Nobody sees this but you
Your location history stays on your phone or in your own iCloud — never on our servers, never bundled up and sold to an advertiser. We built WHIB to be a private notebook, and we intend to keep it that way.
Made by two people who kept forgetting where they'd been
